"Bag of Briclks Cahllenge: Like to build with Bricks? Come by the library during the month of November to pick up a bag of 50 random bricks. Return your creation anytime during the month of November to be put on display. Challenge: Using the 50 bricks (or less) build something incredible. You can add other objects if you would like to decorate your creation (but please do not use anything of value, as these won’t be returned). "Writing Outside Our Limitations - A writing workshop weekend with author Genevieve Plunkett at Prospect Street Writers House at 20 Prospect Street, North Bennington, VT. There are infinite ways to tell a story, and seemingly infinite ways to get stuck. As writers we may think that we need more time, more discipline, or more guidance, when what we really need is just permission. In this workshop we will read excerpts from great writers who did things a little differently. Whether it's a subtle narrative shift or a bold departure from the norm, let's find reasons to say, "I didn't know I could do that!" Workshop Schedule: Friday, November 21st from 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM; Saturday, November 22nd from 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM AND 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM Sunday, November 23rd from 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM. Participants are expected to attend all four sessions. Reservations are required and space is limited.
