EBSCO LearningExpress Library® provides you with easy-to-use access to relevant interactive tutorials, e-books and test preparation to help improve academic skills in reading, writing, math, social studies and science. Included are career-related information and test preparation for college admissions, professional career licensing and certification, high school equivalency and citizenship, and much more.

  • Prepare for the GED, or work on math and reading for adults
  • Work on skills for school, from elementary to college, or practice for the SAT, ACT, or GRE
  • Prepare for and take an occupation exam, like the CDL, law enforcement, teaching, and more
  • Explore potential careers, based on interest, skills, and future growth
  • Get support for resumes, cover letters, and interviews, or search for jobs and internships

New Users:

  • Click on EBSCO Learning Express logo above
  • At the website, click on Sign In/Register in the top menu. On the next page, under New User, click Register
  • Create your account. If you don’t have an email address, click “Register without email” (be sure to write down your username or security answer, as there is no way to retrieve it later)

Returning Users:

  • Click on EBSCO Learning Express logo above
  • Click on Sign In/Register in the top menu. Enter your login information and click Login

Tips:

  • My Center under your name shows all of the tutorials and exams that you’re currently working on or have completed
  • Click on Home or Centers to see all the resources in the site

Universal Class offers a wide-range of courses, from office skills to algebra, baking to self-help, and spiritual studies to painting. The classes are generally meant for high school-age patrons and older. Though classes are not for college credit, they are led by a real instructor with whom you communicate through the site. Courses allow you to proceed at your own pace, working on assignments anytime, day or night. You have up to six months to complete a class and can enroll in up to five classes at a time.

New Users:

Returning Users:

  • Click on Universal Class logo above
  • Once at the site, click Sign In button 
  • Enter your name and password

Tips:

  • In My Settings you can choose whether to allow classmates to contact you (through your Universal Class email) and choose privacy settings for your profile
  • More Options allows you to log off or change your password
